James T. Smith '47 and his family recently took a
cruise to Alaska. He enjoys traveling and has visited
Europe and South and Central America. He and
his wife, Janet, live in Signal Mountain, Tenn. James
attends nearly five Auburn home games every year.

Joe M. Williams '50 retired from Armco Steel in
1986 but continued working as an engineering
consultant until 2011 as his "second retirement."
He and his wife, Barbara, live in Pasadena, Texas,
and have three children and four grandchildren.

Charles S. phillips II '51 is the founder and
president of two companies in the high voltage
electrical business. He is "happy and healthy" at
87 years old, and is a passionate Christian. He
and his wife, Mary Jo, live in Mountain Brook,

Walter C. Anderton '55 is a practicing architect
who has been at the same address for the past 50
years. His largest project was working on the Our
Lady of the Angels Monastery in Hanceville, Ala.
Walter and his wife, Marian, live in Hoover, Ala.
James M. Adams Jr. '68 retired from Genuine
Parts Co (NAPA Auto Parts) in April 2012. He
sold his house in Marietta, Ga., and moved to Lake
Martin. He and his wife, Antonia, enjoy spending
time at the lake with friends and family. ey also
enjoy traveling throughout the United States to
see the country and visit friends and relatives. He
tailgated at Auburn football games this fall with

Charles e. potter Jr. '73 has worked in surgical
endoscopy sales for the past 30 years. He works
at Water and Power Technologies, selling water
purification systems to medical dialysis industry.
He and his wife, Ann, celebrated their 40th
wedding anniversary. ey have two children
and four grandchildren. He enjoys golfing and

John A. Roberts Jr. '82 attends every Auburn
home football game. He enjoys golf, fishing,
and spending time with family. He spends a lot
of time at Lake Harding, near Columbus, Ga.

Benjamin C. Reeves Jr. '84 was elected
District Attorney in 2004, and was awarded
District Attorney of the Year in 2012. He and
his wife, Beth, live in Eufaula, Ala., and have
