Main St., 527-6402 Calendar I had the film crew up for the first round of film- ing, and I discovered some- thing — high definition TV is very revealing. I saw some of the clips they shot and, man, is it true, the camera adds a few pounds and several wrin- kles. Oh well, the hubby doesn't mind. It was pretty entertain- ing to see how this pro- cess works. Lots of consent forms to be signed by folks, lots of time spent setting everything up, lots of try- ing to capture the right mo- ments. It was exhausting, but I think the end prod- uct will be well worth it. If we can capture the spirit of the World Eskimo Indian Olympics in July, I will be happy. Some exciting news for the gym, Team Intense joined forces with us. We have a fight team for the first time since I retired from fighting last year. It's nice to see the guys in the cage rolling around, spar- ring, getting bloody. Brings back fond memories for me. Two of them are slated to fight on June 7 at Blue Lake Casino. Can't wait to see them dominate. Any of you aspiring fighters out there, they always need people to punch and throw around. There are slots available on the team if you really want to throw your hat in the ring. Speaking of fighting, last week they had tryouts for the UFC in Las Vegas for 115 pound females. Four girls that I fought tried out to be in the TUFF House, including my arch nemesis who I fought twice — grrrr. It is pretty hard for me to sit back and watch this. I'm pretty sure, I would have been selected if I tried out. I have a serious case of sour grapes. I console myself with the fact that if I had to be in a house with my enemy for a month, I would end up in prison for attacking her. I don't want to go to prison. I suppose I'll be content with honing my skills for WEIO. We would like to wel- come our community to Psycho Fitness's 3rd year Anniversary Party. I can't believe we've managed to stay open this long. Thank you to all our students and instructors who have made this possible. Please join us for food and refreshments, and please bring some canned goods by as we will be doing a food drive for Food For The Hungry — 10 items will enter you in a drawing for some killer prizes. The film crew may be there, so make sure you look pretty and have your best smile on. AveryVilcheisafitnessin- structor who owns Psy- cho Fitness & MMA at 1450 Schwab St. in Red Bluff.
