alPha Chi omega 3 In Memoriam Reola Durand Reid '40 passed away on March 17, 2013. She was active in the Republican Party, PEO, and volunteered for many years with the American Red Cross. She is survived by her sons, Michael and Brad, daughter, Linda, seven grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Maryanna Wuttke Kurtz '56 passed away on July 9, 2013. She was a longtime member of Van Orsdel United Methodist Church in Havre, where she was also a member of United Methodist Women and Wesley Circle and sang in the church choir for many years. Maryanna was an excellent piano player and enjoyed playing for the Northern Montana Care Center. She is survived by her sons, Charles and Matthew, and four grandchildren: Julie, Blaine, Allison, and Rosalie. Barbara Werbe Meek '58 passed away on October 27, 2013, at her home in Baton Rouge, La. She is survived by her daughters, Sheri and Mindy, and grandchildren: Robert, Megan, Carson, and Zane. Alumnae News Barbara Johnson Bishop '44 is glad to be back in Longview, Wash., with friends and family. She lives next door to one of her sons. She and her husband, Steve, have three sons and six grandchildren ranging from age 2 to 21 years. Laurie and Steve enjoy living on a farm south of Peculiar, Mo., in an old stone house built in 1856. Twenty French students were hosted by families for two weeks. Mary and her students look forward to their visit to France in April. Jane is lucky to have her grandsons live only two miles away from her home in Leawood, Kan. She is still very active in her elementary art career. She currently attends the University of Missouri, Kansas City, pursuing her M.A. in art history.
