June nagle dittman '48 reports that she is "still alive and kicking!" She will fly to Barcelona in October for a cruise, and she still volunteers at local hospitals in Irvine, CA. Her two daughters have blessed her with six grandchildren, who gave her 15 great- grandchildren. Kathryn lives in Brookston, IN. She recorded her forthcoming song, "Originals," which she wrote and composed with the help of her son, Brian Lynch, a Grammy winner, composer, and professor of jazz trumpet at Miami University Coral Gables. "While in this position, my husband, Jim, and I have met some very interesting people like Neil Armstrong, Sully Sullenberger, and three men who had vital roles in landing the Mars rover." She will graduate in May 2014 as a doctor of osteopathic medicine, and then her residency will begin. She volunteers at Komen in Indianapolis with women who have breast cancer. Her son is following Juliann's love of Purdue as he is currently a junior in computer engineering. E-mail: julgladden1@comcast.net mary anne boarini noble '73 is preparing for another family wedding. Her daughter, Mary Emily, will marry Jon Wang, a Purdue engineer, this June. Mary lives in Indianapolis with her husband, David. They have two other daughters, Mollie, and Meredith. lisa markward howser '77 enjoys traveling with her husband and girlfriends and loves being a "grammie" to four beautiful grandkids. She took early retirement from a career she loved as a book manager when Borders began closing stores and works part-time to support her scrapbooking habit. "It was a tragic experience and quite the journey. God has been faithful. I want to thank my Sigma Kappa sisters who were there to encourage me and also those who donated to Lauren's college fund. Sometimes we don't know why things have to happen the way they do, but have faith that God will always help us pick up the pieces. Love you all!"
