Frances Carter Bidstrup '50 has worked for Point Reyes Bird Observatory for 34 years. She has received several awards for doing what she loves most. She lives in Pollock Pines, Calif. They enjoy visiting the Caribbean and have been there at least once a year for the last 30 years. Barbara Weeks Neely '51 taught for 36 years, first as a classroom teacher, then a reading specialist, and finally a literacy coach. Katherine's life is filled with travel, family, gardening, book clubs, and charity work with a women's homeless shelter in Orinda, Calif. She will move back to California this year and hopes to reconnect with other alumnae. Now that she is retired, she plays a lot of bridge and competes in senior games at the state and national level. She is a volunteer clinical faculty member at UC Davis Medical School and Rosalind Franklin Chicago Medical School.
