AGR Shows a Touch of Class T his semester the men of Alpha Gamma Rho have made great strides to engage other organizations and promote Gamma Chapter as the fraternity with a touch of class. From my election speech I encouraged brothers to step out of their comfort zones to enhance our chapter. By doing so we were able to host a cheese social and a dinner with the lovely women of Alpha Zi Delta Sorority. With our men in their Sunday best, we enjoyed a cheese appetizer in Great Hall with dinner (prepared by chef Holly) served in the basement. My job as VNR activities is to promote our fraternity as instilling good social ethics and values upon our members. It's important to me that Gamma Chapter continues to strive for excellence and make better men. Fraternally, VNR Activities Sean Gunning '12 (Γ1595) (215) 272-2462 spg5148@psu.edu Gamma Chapter's annual Christmas party was a huge success. Gamma Chapter Budgets for the Future A s VNR finance I have worked to ensure that Gamma Chapter's finances are being handled responsibly and accurately. I am pleased to announce that we have budgeted appropriately and maintain a high level of financial security and stability. • Per-semester house bill is $4,500, or $9,000 a year. • Room and board in the dorms is around $5,000, or $10,000 a year. • Brothers pay their house bill electronically through the Bursar, and all are paid up. • There are currently 42 brothers living in the house. Their majors range from food science to classics and ancient Mediterranean studies. Their hometowns span the country, from Orange County, California, to Long Island, New York. We've already made better men of these eight who came together by the unique experience that Gamma Chapter offers. They look forward to tackling projects, including repainting Gamma Lounge and building a new elevated dance surface. We're happy to welcome them to the brotherhood.
