For more information, please call 347-3852 Manton Grange bingo Manton Grange Bingo will be at 4:30 p.m. Mon- day, April 4, at Manton Grange on Forward Road in Manton. It is a monthly dinner and bingo night. After din- ner, bingo starts. Players can purchase a book for $16, which gives roughly three hours of play. This month there will also be some Big Pay Outs. The more who come the higher the winnings. Cost is $5 for dinner and $16 for bingo. Gerber graffiti meeting The Gerber-Las Flores Community Service Dis- trict, Gerber Park Commission and Tehama County Sheriff’s Department are holding a town hall meet- ing at 6:30 p.m. tonight. The meeting, which will include a discussion on graffiti eradication efforts and a secret witness reward will be held at the Gerber Community Hall on San Benito Avenue. CattleWomen Beef Appe- tizer Cookbook. 2 lbs. lean ground beef 1/4 cup peeled grated potato 1 egg 1 small onion, grated Salt & freshly ground pepper 1 — 13 ounce bottle Heinz chili sauce 5 ounces grape jelly Dash of Worcestershire sauce Combine first four ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Form into small meatballs and set aside. Blend chili sauce, grape jelly and Worcestershire sauce in large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs. Cover & simmer 30 minutes, stir- ring occasionally. Transfer to chafing dish. Skim excess fat from sauce. Pour sauce over meatballs. Yield: 100 small meatballs.
