Delta Xi's Proud History S ince our founding almost 100 years ago, Delta Delta Delta has been at the heart of Greek life at the University of Missouri. With more than 2,200 initiates, Delta Xi Chapter has nurtured and sustained women during some of the most formative years of their lives, cultivating lasting friendships in the process. As alumnae, we can trace many of our best college memories back to our Tri Delta experience. Enjoying a past filled with rich tradition and history, Delta Xi thrives on campus today. We pride ourselves on being a well-rounded and diversified group of women. Our house on Richmond Avenue is a primary focus of undergraduate life for Delta Xi collegians. It has been a place of comfort and refuge for hundreds of young women and a classroom where our sisters have learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility, achievement, leadership, dedication, loyalty, and friendship as they entered a new phase in their life. As alumnae, we have been entrusted with perpetuating this tradition of excellence for the next generation. Over the past 10 years, Mizzou has experienced unprecedented growth in its enrollment and the Greek community has kept pace. Currently the Delta Xi Chapter has more than 240 members on its roll and the average pledge class consists of approximately 75+ members. If we are to continue our strong presence on campus and influence among members, we must ensure we are providing a safe, modern and comfortable home that fosters the sisterhood we cherished during our college days. While there may be some differences in today's chapter compared to the one you knew, the common bond of our sisterhood remains, along with our shared values and traditions. All Delta Xi alumnae can be proud of the legacy we have helped create and the historical quality of our chapter that carries on today.
