Check Received To Aid Orphans Of County County Treasurer E.L. Cullen received a check today from the state controller for $1,776.17 on account of aid to orphans in Tehama county for the six months ending Dec. 31. event on March 16. All proceeds from the event, which will be at the Red Bluff Elks Lodge, 355 Gilmore Road, will benefit the Tehama County Library’s summer reading program and PAL programs. The event will begin with registration at 6:15 p.m. and bunco begin- ning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 each and space is limited to 168 people so it is suggested partici- pants purchase tickets in advance.
