Is it how much you make every year? Is it the number of customers walking through your door? For most, there are a lot of elements that go in to what your business represents. But none of that happens without a plan. Sure, you can just jump in headfirst and hope for the best, but real success comes with a vision for who you are and where you'll be. With that in mind, your Fayetteville Regional Chamber embarked on a lengthy, but important process to redefine what exactly our plan is. That process recently wrapped up and has culminated with the release of our three-year Strategic Plan. With a clearer focus for what defines the Chamber, members will see new and innovative programs and will feel more confident that their investment in this process is vital. "We're so excited to have this plan for our future," said Doug Peters, President and CEO of the Chamber. "This plan digs deep in to giving all of us involved with the Chamber a renewed vision for what economic prosperity can mean for this community." The Fayetteville Regional Chamber has been around for over 100 years. Defining a new strategic plan now may seem unusual to some, but Peters says the need for a new vision is pushed by market demand. "Our membership defines who we are," Peters said. "And as the business climate changes for each and every one of those members, we have to change. Adapting to the current conditions and holding a strong vision for the future is important for our success and for the success of all of our members." The Chamber's primary goal hasn't changed. The Chamber is here for business in this community, no matter what that means. In fact, it's that adaptability for so many different needs that this strategic plan is designed to address. The process of implementing a new strategic plan began well over a year ago, but you'll see more about the plan very soon, as your Chamber takes tackles making this business community the best it can be today.
