INVESTING IN OUR FUTURE As we embark on this journey for a new home, thank you to all of the sisters who have provided early financial gifts to bring these plans to reality. Thus far, $1,415,516 has been committed to the Anchored in Tradition, Building Our Future campaign. This is a marvelous start, but we need your help to reach our $2 million campaign goal and complete the plan as envisioned. college memories involve our Alpha Upsilon sisters. DG's values and rich history have sustained generations of our sisterhood and impacted the members of the university community. Our home at 3120 Daniel has provided a safe and nurturing environment for our sisters to grow and learn for more than 60 years, but newer technology and building codes have dramatically changed. It has become clear that our home can no longer meet the needs of our active members. Our investment in Alpha Upsilon will yield a facility that complements our efforts to produce outstanding members, scholars, and leaders for years to come. Our goal is to create a facility that will allow our sisters to learn and grow in a comfortable, safe living environment and to maintain a competitive edge in the SMU Greek community. The ability to recruit and retain the best young women requires that our facility be among the best with respect to modernization, educational programming, computer/ Internet access, and safety. ALPHA UPSILON'S VISION Our new home will be nearly three times larger than the current facility and three stories tall. The front of our home will feature a traditional Georgian façade with columns and the DG anchor proudly THE COMMITMENT OF OUR SISTERS YOUR PART IN THE PLAN In the coming weeks, you will receive more information detailing this project and how YOU can help make a difference. Let us add your name to the growing list of campaign donors on page 2. With your help, we can ensure the legacy you helped build lives on for many years to come.
