Kay Sheppard Swigart '79 resides in Hallsville,
TX, with her husband, John. She has one son,
two stepchildren, and five grandchildren. Kay
says it was good to hear from her DG sisters;
and joked that her mom must have given them all
her address. She hopes to soon join the alumnae

Katherine Rogers Vonderhaar '80 and her
husband, Bernard, live in Houston, TX, and have
three children: Ben, Bill, and Margaret. Their
daughter, Margaret, just pledged Delta Gamma
at Texas Tech. "She felt right at home from day

Paulette Pittman Mulry '81 is the director of
development at Southern Methodist University.
She and her husband, Randall, have two
daughters, Meagan and Paige. They reside in

husband, Jason, have three children: twins
sons Zach and Matt are freshmen at Texas

were paired with Sigma Chi for the Great
Gatsby-themed Homecoming. We had a blast
in the parade and enjoyed our alumnae brunch
that morning before the Boulevard.
Recruitment Success
Our VP of membership, Vicky Wu '12, and
the rest of the recruitment team worked hard
to prepare for formal recruitment this January.
Our members continue to meet the potential
new members on campus through their various
organizations and in class. We cannot wait
to officially welcome these women into our
chapter.
We Appreciate Your Support
The Alpha Upsilon Chapter is starting the
school year on a strong note and planning ways
to continue our positive growth on campus.
We all thank our alumnae for the continued
support. Our success would not be possible
without the Delta Gamma foundation you have
DGs at Rock the Vote before Homecoming.
