HONORING OUR PAST, SECURING OUR FUTURE
F
Our Proud History
or over 95 years, the Alpha-Delta Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha has
been an important part of the Missouri University of Science &
Technology. While many of our brothers have pursued successful
and distinguished careers in engineering, business, medicine, and
countless other endeavors, the common bond of our brotherhood
remains, along with our shared principles and values.
Most of us can trace the roots of our success to one place: AlphaDelta Zeta and the years we spent together in Rolla. The early
training we received through our Fraternity—including leadership,
organizational and social skills, teamwork, and character—has
been integral to our personal success.
While today's college experience may differ from the one you
knew, there is an unbroken chain of Lambda Chi Alpha brotherhood
at Missouri S&T that has continued since our founding in 1917.
ADZ alumni can be proud of the legacy we have helped create and
the quality of our Chapter that carries on today.
NOW IS THE TIME
Our Chapter House at 1705 N. Pine Street was built in 1955, with
additions in 1965 and 1980, and has been a home away from home
for hundreds of young men. We have the opportunity to ensure the
ADZ experience for future generations. The following pages detail
the steps needed to rebuild the Chapter House. This project will not
only serve the immediate needs of our undergraduates, but will also
preserve our home as a premier facility for all Lambda Chis to use
and enjoy in the years ahead.
If we wish for ADZ to maintain its record of accomplishment,
we must commit ourselves to this grand endeavor. As alumni, we
have both a privilege and a duty to preserve the legacy of our great
Fraternity for future generations.
