Gamma Phi Beta Pi Chapter Earns Highest Campus GPA Sisters Spread Awareness about Drunk Driving Fun-Filled Semester Members dress up in retro clothes for the first dance of the year. Pi Chapter kicked off the fall semester with a bang! After a fantastic recruitment, we welcomed 45 new members. We have kept busy with academics, volunteer work, and fun socials. Our first dance of the year was themed What Used to Be Cool. We enjoyed breaking out the butterfly hairclips and choker necklaces that reminded us of the past. We also enjoyed watching a movie at the Joyo Theatre with the men of Phi Kappa Theta on October 12. We celebrated Halloween in style with a dance on November 1 and will finish the semester with our winter formal on December 6. GFB Named Homecoming Winners We celebrated Homecoming week with lots of volunteering, hard work, and school spirit. Members created a skit with Theta Xi, FarmHouse, and Beta Sigma Psi and took home first place in Monday Night Live. As the week continued, we spent countless hours working on our float. During Homecoming week, we donated blood, danced at the east campus concert, and cheered during the parade. Allie Skidmore Bell '10 and I were both on the 2013 UNL Homecoming Court. It was announced during halftime at the football game that Gamma Phi Beta won Homecoming for the second year in a row! We couldn't be more proud of our school spirit. We hope you will visit the chapter house and see all that we have accomplished. Members Volunteer in Lincoln Sisters learn a new cheer on Bid Day.
