Carleen Mears Berry '52 continues to give pi‑
ano lessons from her home in Minneapolis, Kan.
Ann Woodruff Johnson '53 is retired after
working as a flight attendant for many years. She
lives in Naples, Fla., with her husband, Carl.
Nan Morgan Porter '56 serves on the Crime
Victims Compensation Board, which helps dis‑
perse money to crime victims. Last year they

Melisande Magers Skillicorn '57 and her hus‑
band, Gerald, moved to central New Jersey, to be
near their youngest daughter. They are living in
an active adult retirement community and love

Carol Betlack Lindsley '60 is on the faculty of
the School of Medicine, department of pediatrics,
at the Univesity of Kansas. She teaches, does re‑
search, and cares for patients with connective tis‑

Lois Freudenthal Robb '60 retired in 2002 and
she now enjoys reading, tutoring, traveling, and
playing with her grandchildren. She loves her
retirement in Olathe, Kan., with her husband,

Barbara Frey Bowlus '61 and her husband,
Charles, enjoy traveling between their two homes
in Germany and Wisconsin. They spend their free
time with grandchildren and love keeping up with
