Chapter Sets 3.36 GPA Goal Sisters Plan Founder's Day Celebration W We have dedicated our time to improving grades and supporting our new members as they begin their college career. We are aiding our new members in their academic endeavors by initiating a new study system. Our new program, Study Buddies, will help match junior or senior mentors with new members. We hope that the mentor program will help new members transition from high school to college smoothly. We look forward to achieving our semester GPA goal of 3.36. Sisters Bond during Homecoming Theta Iota hosted our annual Firebug date party in September. We also participated in Homecoming Week, October 20-26. Homecoming provided us the perfect opportunity to bond as sisters, foster new friendships, and take part in friendly competition. Events for the week consisted of the Wildcat Request Live dance competition, Pant the Chant, Spirit Sign, and of course, the Homecoming floats. Our partners were Phi Delta Theta and Sigma Pi. Founder's Day Celebration Initiation was also held in October. The Trident Degree took place on the 17th and the Stars and Crescent Degree was held on the 18th. In November, Theta Iota is hosting Dad's Weekend by having a tailgate and watching the Wildcat football game. We are also looking forward to the Founder's Day celebration. Feel free to contact me and stop by the Chapter House for more information. Delta Love, Lauren Meehan '11 Chapter President lmeehan@k-state.edu 3
