From small, intimate gatherings to large, formal receptions, here are a few options: SkyView on Hay: SkyView on Hay at 121 Hay Street is our newest event venue downtown with five spaces, four kitchens, three floors, two vaults all in one fabulous place. Their main 25' high ceiling ballroom allows for up to 400 people, but they also have other options including two other levels and a garden terrace, all with individual sound systems, chairs and tables to your liking. The Metropolitan Room: The Metropolitan Room boasts a 5,000 square foot plus ballroom, a unique mini vault lounge (which can be used for serving drinks), lobby, marbled entrance foyer with a marble fountain and a private four story parking garage. Floor to ceiling windows complete the look and the view of the Market House is extraordinary. This beautiful addition to downtown can service parties from 50 to 500 people. The Rainbow Room: The Rainbow Room is a prime example of a renovated downtown building centered on Hay Street, which features brick sidewalks and blossoming trees. With a modern interior and room for 100-150, this venue has housed wedding receptions, corporate meetings and the like. The Capitol Room: For your elegant event needs, The Capitol Room is a renovated space with beautiful details that are sure to impress and add to your occasion at 134 Person Street. Marquis Market: Best known as a hot lunch spot and morning breakfast café, Marquis Market transforms into event space on off-hours. The front space can be rented for 6800 square feet of event space including modern, chic polished cement floors and plenty of natural light offering a built in project screen for presentations, movies or slideshows. The back space is a new addition, but well worth the wait with its exposed brick walls and large plank hardwood floors opening to a courtyard. Both spaces have a capacity of around 200. The room is almost a blank canvas as far as the different seating arrangements that can be imagined featuring round and rectangular tables. Calendar of Events Need a party space for just a few to 50? There are several options downtown. The Wine Café at 108 Hay Street and Market Square Coffee Shop at 106 Hay Street all have small, private backrooms.
