Pi Beta Phi 3 California Gamma Welcomes 72 New Pledges Members Plan Sisterhood and Alumnae Events throughout the Semester T he California Gamma Chapter of Pi Beta Phi is back for the fall and we could not be more excited to welcome our new pledge class! This year we have 72 new members. We have several great events planned for the fall, including our annual philanthropy event, Arrowspike, and our first invite Luau. Alayna Lewis '12 and Sloan Wilson '13 at Bid Night. Members on Bid Day 2013. We are welcoming our new member class with various activities and sisterhood events that we will be holding throughout the semester. This year the new members will have a new "angel sis" every other week in order to get to know the older members better and develop that Pi Phi bond that we all know and love. With such a large new member class, we plan on working extra hard to make sure each and every member feels fully welcome and a part of our wonderful Chapter! We also have several alumnae activities planned for the semester, including a tailgate (more details to come). Alumnae will also be invited to attend a Monday night dinner– one of our Chapter's favorite weekly events. With the recent success of the alumnae sleepover and the 40th reunion events, we are reminded of how important alumnae are in continuing the strength of our Chapter and celebrating its history. Members of our newest pledge class at their first new member retreat. Sophomore members at the beach day retreat during recruitment school. With such an outstanding new member class and many wonderful events planned, we are very excited for this semester and happy to continue the California Gamma legacy!
