PAGE 3 THETA CHI TAU CHAPTER CONTINUES TO EXCEL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA The New Tau Chapter House Undergraduates Welcome Alumni to New Chapter House McKeown Study Hall Active members enjoy the house dedication celebration. t is my esteemed honor to announce that finally, after years of hard work and dedication from the entire Theta Chi brotherhood, Tau Chapter has realized its dream of a brand new, state-of-the-art Chapter House. Not only does this new house represent a promising new chapter in the annals of Tau Chapter, but it embodies the values and bonds of brotherhood that Theta Chi cherishes most. It's impossible to express the amount of gratitude the undergraduate members have for the alumni base and the entire Theta Chi brotherhood. I 41 NEW MEMBERS INITIATED The fall of 2013 pledge class will certainly be one for the record books. Tau Chapter successfully initiated 41 new brothers. Theta Chi's new house was the buzz of fall recruitment and it was incredible to hear the men speak about our new structure. Tau Chapter successfully initiated an astonishing 35 new brothers into our Fraternity in the spring semester, for a total of 76 new members this year. We secured the James Michael Holland Award from the International Fraternity for recruitment for the third year in a row. With more than 130 active brothers, we can only expect our success to reach heights greater than ever. TAU CHAPTER LEADS ACROSS CAMPUS Tau Chapter has a tradition of producing leaders, both within our brotherhood and on campus, and this past year was no different. We are incredibly proud to announce Daniel Levin '10 as the new student government productions chairman, with several of our brothers serving positions under him, including our own Treasurer Adam Droz '11 as acting comptroller. Our brotherhood has a history of serving in student government and in the student senate. We are honored to continue this legacy with the Florida Blue Key Honorary, with 12 new brothers joining their ranks in the last year. Garrick Harding '08 was elected as Florida Blue Key vice president for the fall semester. Gov. Fuller Warren Dining room Ball Family Lounge This Chapter has an overwhelming amount of gratitude for its alumni. The undergraduates represent the state of our brotherhood, but our position on campus and the completion of our new house are testaments to those who have come before us. None of these accomplishments would have been possible without the continued support of those who came before and perfectly embody the Theta Chi motto—the assisting hand. We hope to see all our brothers throughout the year; this Chapter House belongs to the alumni as much as it does the undergraduates. Thank you, brothers.
