He had a long, successful career as a pilot for commercial airlines, flying both domestic and international routes for nearly 30 years. He earned a nursing degree while flying for Pan Am World Airways and helped with airline medical programs and the occasional in‑flight medical emergency. Richard Rottgering '65 entered Chapter Eternal June 28, 2013. He was a resident of Germantown, Tenn. He served as a navigator for the Tennessee Air National Guard for 33 years before his retirement. Harry Schuh '65 entered Chapter Eternal May 21, 2013. A legendary football athlete, Harry played for Memphis State University where he was an All-American. He played professional football for the Oakland Raiders, playing in Super Bowl II, and for the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers. He leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce, and is survived by three children: Susanne, Sally, and Harry Jr., six grandchildren, and many family and friends. They live in Memphis, Tenn. Hugh Murtha '60 retired from sales management in 2003. He started a real estate brokerage firm in Stone Lake in Hayward, Wis., with his son. He and his wife, Suzanne, live in Minneapolis and enjoy spending time at the lake in Wisconsin. He says they also enjoy spending time with their four children and seven grandchildren. He plans to fill his time primarily with a volunteer organization that helps with the rehabilitation of veterans, along with Gordon Brigman '70. "We are in charge of helping to save money to buy special therapeutic cycles for disabled veterans and those in rehabilitation." He and his wife, Ellen, live in Danville, Ill.
