Texas Gamma Chapter M pa g e 4 Founder's Day Celebration Reunites Sisters Alumnae Reminisce about Chapter Experiences ore than 200 women gathered to celebrate Texas Gamma's 60th Founder's Day event this year. The spotlight shined bright on the pledge class of 1963 and the women who achieved Golden Arrow status. Our value of lifelong friendship was apparent at the celebration. Smiles flashed across our faces, showing the joy and love we have for each other and the growth of our sisterhood. We shared a delicious meal as our Madrigals provided the entertainment for the evening. They sang several Pi Phi songs, ranging from the traditional melodies to new mash-ups written by the talented group themselves. However, the most special moment occurred after pinning the Golden Arrows. The ladies sang a song from their era and there was not a dry eye in the house. Everyone wore their finest white attire at this spectacular event as conversation and laughter filled the room. Fourteen Golden Arrows attended the celebration. In an effort to make this a special time for these sisters, we displayed pictures from their years as active members. The pictures provided an opportunity to travel down memory lane and reminisce about all of the special moments we spent together. Texas Gamma is very fortunate to have such a thriving Chapter. We would not be this outstanding without the support of our many devoted alumnae. Our Chapter continues to grow each year, not only in numbers but also in the strength of our sisterly bond.
