Lambda Chapter Celebrates Success in Recruitment,
Academics and Philanthropy
he 2013-2014 school year has already been off to a busy start.
The Lambda Chapter swept the Hill once again during fall formal
recruitment, and we are honored and thrilled to welcome our newest pledge
class.

Lambda ended the spring 2013 semester with a 3.49 GPA, the highest of
all Greek organizations on campus. Additionally, Chi Omega received
the following classifications at Greek Awards this past spring: Excellence
in Academic Performance and Distinction in Membership Development
and Education, Risk Management and Legal Liability, Leadership and
Campus Engagement, Community Awareness, and Chapter Management.
Chi Omega was the only sorority to achieve the Excellence category in
Academic Performance.

This fall, we will host another Wings for a Wish event, serving hot wings at
the house before the football game on October 19. We are excited to share
that the Lambda Chapter granted our wish child, Gavin, his wish to go on a
Disney cruise this August. Gavin and his mother came over for a spaghetti
dinner at the house this past spring.
We are eager to begin preparing for the 2014 Rock Chalk Revue with our
partners, Sigma Nu. The house will be open to alumni before every home
football game this fall so please feel free to stop in!
