A SLICE OF PI GAMMA PHI BETA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEBRASKA-LINCOLN • FALL 2025 I am delighted to share updates on Pi Chapter as we begin another exci ng semester on campus. One of our goals this year is to strengthen alumnae engagement, and we are thrilled to announce the crea on of a Pi Chapter Alumnae Facebook page. We also invite you to join us for our Founders Day celebra on on Sunday, November 2, from 1-3 p.m. at the Wick Alumni Center. Pi Chapter concluded the spring semester with outstanding academic success, earning a 3.66 GPA, the second highest among all sorori es. We are especially proud of the 53 members who achieved a perfect 4.0. Their dedica on con nues to set the standard for excellence in our chapter. Our members remained ac ve in the community by hos ng Moonball, which took the form of a basketball tournament. We also supported our Girls on the Run coaches and celebrated with the par cipants at their spring 5K. Gamma Phi Betas con nue to excel in leadership roles across campus. Sydney Beck '22, Grace Schaefer '22, and Gabrielle Van Veldhuizen '22 were ini ated into the Mortar Board class of 2025. In addi on, Katelyn Dougherty '23, Emma Gross '24, Reece McNeely '23, and Marin Zink '24 were selected as Cli onStrengths Student Coaches in the College of Business. This fall, nearly 964 women par cipated in primary recruitment. Under the leadership of Membership Vice President Sydney Beck '22, we welcomed 65 new members—one of the largest pledge classes in Pi Chapter history! We are eager to guide them through their first semester as they begin their Gamma Phi journey. We are also proud to share Nikoleta Skoufis '22 was nominated to the UNL Homecoming Court, con nuing our tradi on of representa on. As the semester progresses, we look forward to celebra ng Homecoming, Husker football, Big/Li le Week, Ini a on, our Scoops for Schools philanthropy, and many other cherished tradi ons. On behalf of Pi Chapter, thank you for your ongoing love and support. We are grateful for our alumnae, who exemplify the meaning of lifelong membership in Gamma Phi Beta.
