THE BEARCAT SIG Zeta Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi at the University of Cincinnati V Fall 2025 Recent Zeta Psi Accolades and Progress ON TRACK FOR EXCELL E N C E n Academic Prowess We finished the spring semester with a chapter GPA of 3.4, ranking second among IFC fraternities. Scholarship Chairman Spencer Routt '26 worked closely with members who were below our benchmark, and by the end of the semester, 80% of those brothers finished above a 3.1. That kind of progress shows the commitment we have to mutual support and holding ourselves to high standards in the classroom. n Sigma Chi Networking Over the summer, Zeta Psi was represented on the international stage. Our sweetheart, Lindsey Dickess, was a finalist for International Sweetheart at Grand Chapter in Denver. Evan Phelps '25 was also recognized as a finalist for the International Balfour Award in Bowling Green. Even though neither came away with the top prize, both represented Zeta Psi with pride and showcased our success at the international level. We're looking ahead with excitement, as the next Grand Chapter will be held in Cincinnati in two years. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase our chapter right here at home. n A New Year Approaches Life on University Court is as strong as ever, with a full house and plenty of energy heading into the fall. Our brotherhood continues to thrive, and we've got some exciting events being planned by Membership Development Chairman Adam Dumford '26. We are especially looking forward to Homecoming with Tri Delta this fall, which is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the semester. On the philanthropic side, our chapter remains ambitious. We continue to work toward raising $50,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute, building momentum through Derby Days and other service efforts. Giving back is central to who we are, and our drive to reach this goal reflects that. The achievements of this past semester and summer speak to the dedication of our chapter and the ongoing support of our alumni. With strong academics, international recognition, and a house full of motivated brothers, Zeta Psi is set for another exciting and successful year.
