RUTGERS UNIVERSITY FALL 2025 The Raritanian B rothers, friends, and volunteers—what a semester spring was! After four years of hard work, we congratulate the undergraduates for being awarded a new charter. Now we officially move from a Sigma Epsilon chapter to a Sigma Phi Epsilon chapter. Growing Through Brotherhood A huge shoutout to the graduating class of 2025. These brothers, almost 20 strong, provided three years of solid leadership, helping solidify the foundation of the chapter. The goal is to be the biggest and best on campus, and with your energy, leadership, and willingness to be different from the other chapters, you have set the stage. The chapter was also recognized at the SigEp Grand Chapter Conclave this past July as one of only three chapters since the last Conclave two years ago to receive a charter. The chapter was also awarded SLC status, meaning they are a SigEp Learning Community. This is a huge step toward becoming a Buchanan Cup chapter. Alumni Engagement Personally, I must mention what a great time I had at the Grand Chapter Conclave in Tampa this July, with five other New Jersey Beta alumni. We participated in learning sessions, including how to build a better volunteer group, how to maintain steady chapter growth, the road to a Buchanan Cup, and more. We also spent time getting to know our undergraduates. They are a fun bunch, and they take learning seriously. Thank you to the alumni who continue to financially support the chapter. This past semester, the AVC was able to award $4,000 in Balanced Man Scholarships, host the chapter support specialist from HQ, send two undergraduates to the Ruck Leadership Academy, and send 10 undergraduates to Conclave in Tampa. This could not have happened without alumni contributions. We look forward to hosting and celebrating the receipt of our charter with all our alumni and friends. The Chartering Banquet will be held at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick on Friday, October 17, 2025. A member of our National Board will be presenting us with the official charter document, so please remember to reply with the inserted flyer.
