Executive Officers The 2024-25 executive team worked hard to make this year an unforgettable one for Gamma Delta. R yan Barry '98 began his Sigma Chi journey thanks to Dan Grimsley '95, a coworker from Stillwater who kindly invited him to Gamma Delta events the summer before college. Looking back, Ryan had no idea during recruitment how lucky he would be to join a brotherhood of so many quality men. Gamma Delta taught Ryan leadership, empathy, and an appreciation of greater diversity than he experienced in his small-town childhood. "Being surrounded by members who were gifted academically and athletically increased the bar for us all, fine-tuning my work ethic and inspiring me to be the best I could be," he said. Those friendships have only strengthened in the last 30 years as the brothers work together, attend reunions and Bible study, and go cycling together. "In all I do in life, whether professionally or personally, you will usually find a Sigma Chi connection." With gratitude for such invaluable connections, there was never a doubt that Ryan would support The Next 100 Years of Leadership campaign. He hopes that a timeless new Chapter house will continue providing a great experience for our younger brothers at OSU while remaining competitive in recruitment. "I am consistently impressed with our on-campus Chapter—it will only take you one Chapter meeting to witness our success in recruiting and maintaining excellent young men," Ryan said. "We need to do all we can to ensure our Chapter's lasting strength. It would be incredible if all alumni would contribute to the campaign. Any amount you can donate is appreciated." Ryan and his family have lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, since 1999. He married his high school sweetheart, and they have two children: Katelyn is a junior at OSU, and Alex is a junior at Bishop Kelley High School. "With the addition of Maple 500, an apartment complex I co- own near the stadium in Stillwater, I'm looking forward to many more Sigma Chi gatherings in the courtyard, tailgating and cooking out before football games."
