p. 5 Striving for Growth We at Gamma Delta are proud and excited to share the progress our Chapter has made over the past year. After receiving the Dean Troxel Award last year, one of our primary goals was to avoid complacency and continue striving for growth. This year, we placed second for the Troxel Award and set both a Chapter and campus record in philanthropy, raising an incredible $117,000 for the Huntsman Cancer Institute. These accomplishments are just a few highlights made possible by the hard work and dedication of many brothers working toward a common goal. Raising Our GPA Academically, our Chapter achieved a GPA of 3.51, placing third, just behind a second-place finish of 3.54. This marks an improvement over our average fourth- place standing, and we are extremely proud of this progress. Still, academic excellence remains a top priority, and we are committed to continued improvement in this area. Exceeding Our Goals Philanthropy was a major focus during the spring semester. Last year, we set an ambitious goal of $50,000, which felt like a stretch at the time. We ultimately surpassed that number, raising $75,000. Building on that success, we set our sights even higher this year with a goal of $100,000—another target that felt nearly impossible. Yet, thanks to the leadership of Brock Coleman '27 and Avery Fahnestock '26 and the tireless efforts of our philanthropy team, we exceeded our goal by raising more than $117,000! "We couldn't have made a difference in Huntsman's fight against cancer without the countless donations generously given by the friends, family, and alumni of Gamma Delta," Avery said. Recruitment Successes We are also proud to share that our Chapter has grown by 44 new initiates across the fall and spring pledge classes. Each of these young men embodies the Jordan Standard. "We are looking forward to fall recruitment and are excited to continue seeking out young men who are living examples of the Jordan Standard," Brock shared. We owe much of our recruitment success to him and the rest of the recruitment team's outstanding efforts. Supporting the Community Our relationships with other Greek organizations have continued to thrive. This year, our brothers participated in Greek Into the Streets, an annual day of service for Oklahoma State's Greek community. We partnered with the women of Gamma Phi Beta, who will also be our partners for America's Greatest Homecoming this fall. We've also supported and participated in several sorority philanthropy events, including winning the Kappa Delta Shamrock Softball Tournament for the second year in a row and hosting 13 sororities in our annual Derby Days competition. Thankful for Support We would not be where we are today without the unwavering support of our parents and alumni. This year, we enjoyed another successful Casino Night for Mom's Weekend as well as a well-attended Golf Tournament for Dad's Weekend. These events continue to be popular with both parents and undergraduates. We are also fortunate to share regular formal dinners and recruitment events with our alumni, whose continued involvement and mentorship play a crucial role in our success. We are deeply grateful for their support and strive every day to honor their legacy by setting higher goals and representing both our Chapter and Fraternity with pride.
