ALPHABET SOUP – SUMMER 2025 ALUMNI NEWS________________________ Bill Fredericks '76 (A1154) wrote, "Brother Chip Moehlau '77 (A1155), joined Bill Fredericks '76 as crew on his sailboat "Agnetha" from Marion, MA, to Chesapeake Bay enroute to a winter in The Exumas, Bahamas. On the November 1, 2024, departure, Chip got to enjoy miserable cold weather, hanging on while enduring rolling waves, and sleepless nights, but an overall outstanding good time. No doubt his years at Theta Xi, and the US Marine Corps, prepared him for the passage. At the time of this writing, after a nice warm winter in the Bahamas, Brother Fredericks is in Hampton, VA, departing in a few days on the final offshore passage to home. Expected arrival date is June 4, 2025. Email: airborne1715@gmail.com Matt Glaccum '92 (A1324) made the trip to Troy for 6294 last month. He was glad to see some familiar faces albeit with more grey, as well as to have the chance to meet with the Boylen family. He plans to attend next year but really hopes to avoid flying United [outrageous flight delays] to do so. Email: mattglaccum@gmail.com Al Chin '96 (A1417) was promoted to the rank of colonel in the U.S. Army in a ceremony back in November. A number of brothers were on hand to witness and celebrate with Al. Congrats, Colonel Chin! CHAPTER ETERNAL___________________ Derek M.
