Every Sunday, ARTG collaborates with sororities, clubs, and individual volunteers to prepare over 150 bagged lunches, which are distributed to the local homeless community in Gainesville and Grace Marketplace. Thanks to increased campus and brother involvement, ARTG has expanded its impact, providing meals to more individuals each week. This past January, ARTG expanded its efforts host a clothing and blanket drive to support the homeless during Gainesville's colder months. Operating entirely on donations, ARTG always welcomes help, please visit buymeacoffee.com/ areasontogive if you wish to support our cause. . We are proud of our brothers' efforts and their meaningful contributions to countless lives in our Gainesville community. Thrive IFC Executive Director Jake Sketo '26 T hrive IFC is all about building mental health support within UF's fraternity community. We're a group of 87 Greeks working together through weekly meetings with speakers and workshops to empower our members as mental health advocates—it's about breaking down those Chapter walls and uniting as one. I'm incredibly proud of what we've accomplished, and it's truly a testament to the collective effort, especially from my Florida Alpha brothers. Nick Gagliardo '27 and Jake Whitley '26, as Chapter leads, have been instrumental in driving our initiatives. Their dedication has laid a solid foundation for Thrive's growth. The support from fellow brothers serving as ambassadors—like Lance Zabela '28, Dante Dipietro '28, Haider Malik '28, David Ascano '27, Luis Carranza '28, Reese Jenkins '26, and Preston Skinner '26, has been invaluable. They're on the front lines, making a tangible impact. And, of course, brothers like Roman Dario '27, who pioneered our Mental Health Mondays, continue to inspire us. Even brothers from Florida Alpha outside of Thrive are stepping up by helping with meeting setups and offering their support. We're not slowing down; we'll continue to push forward, expand our impact, and raise the bar. The men of Florida Alpha aren't just here to improve things at UF; they're here to change the world.
