O
ur own SigEp Raiders softball team entered this intramural season
hungry for redemption. After finishing 6-1 last year and falling short
in the championship, the team had a chip on its shoulder and a mission
to finish what they started.
From the first pitch of week one, a dominant 26-4 win, the Raiders set
the tone for a statement season. Week after week, they showed up with
intensity, routinely defeating opponents by nearly 20 runs. The energy,
teamwork, and focus never faded.
In the championship game, the Raiders faced off against a younger
freshman SigEp team looking to claim bragging rights of their own. But
the upperclassmen proved too much to handle, putting up 22 runs and
allowing just 4 in a commanding victory.
With near-flawless execution and relentless drive, the Raiders capped
off a picture-perfect, undefeated season, finally bringing home the
trophy they've worked so hard for.
