T he Delta Sigma sisters are proud to look back on such a successful year, starting with an outstanding fall semester! First, we welcomed home the 2024 class with a Bid Day theme that rings true: "All I Wanna Be Is a KKG!" Fall at Oklahoma State was full of school spirit and teamwork across Greek life, and our members wasted no time getting involved. Fifteen of our new sisters participated in Freshman Follies, paired with the men of Phi Delta Tau. The rest of the chapter busied themselves with preparation for the World's Greatest Homecoming. We participated alongside the men of Phi Gamma Delta, showcasing the theme Harmony Within Our Heritage. After completing their new member period (led by Braegan Zimmerman '22), our 58 new sisters were initiated on October 18, 2024, and celebrated a lovely brunch with their Bigs. Our members studied hard throughout the semester, too. With a fall GPA of 3.57, Kappa was just .07 under number one! Date parties planned throughout the year by Sofia Starne '21 always made those weekends special. We paired with chapters across campus to go dancing, dressing up for themes such as "Kappa Kasino" and "Vogue." Sofia's creativity also brought us a new event, "Kappa Krush." Our members and friends had a great time playing yard games, jumping in a bounce house, and eating cotton candy on a fall evening. Delta Sigma also gained new roles in the OSU Panhellenic community. Our very own Addison Browning '22 and Cameron Hill '22 began their terms as the Panhellenic president and vice president of programming, respectively. We also had two members selected for Mortar Board, Lily Stuckey '22 and MaryClaire Munn '23. Our chapter is so proud of their dedication to service and their wonderful representation of Kappa. Delta Sigma was honored to have shared a weekend with Kappa President Elizabeth Bailey, Delta Rho '79, and we are grateful for her leadership! As the spring semester ended, we said goodbye to many graduates in the sisterhood. Thank you to our new alumnae for your time in Delta Sigma; we're all cheering for you. Rah Rah!
