"….and in the years after, with
tears or with laughter, we'll
always remember our dear Kappa
days. It is here that we measure
each day with new pleasure,
our friendships outlasting our
college-hood days."

Dear Kappas
HAPPY SPRING
from 1212 W. 4th!
S
tormy weather may have dampened a few tailgates, not to mention a last-minute time
change for the football game and our Open House. Nevertheless, Kappas shined all day
on November 2! The beautiful Kappa House, in all its blue and blue glory (along with some
orange and black), welcomed alumnae, family, and friends from across the decades!
It was fun meeting Kappas from each generation and going down memory lane, reminiscing
about life in the Kappa House!
This year, we plan to expand the event to both Friday evening during Walkaround and
Saturday before the game. Save the date for Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18,
2025, and join us for another OSU Homecoming and KKG Open House!
Blue and Blue
SHINES BRIGHT
FOR OSU HOMECOMING 2024!
(Continued from page 1)
The second celebration was held to
recognize Kim Anderson, our Kappa
Chef, who is retiring after 15 years of
service to Delta Sigma. We presented
her with a goodie basket of gifts,
letters from the actives, and cards from
alumnae. We will miss her terribly!
Last, but not least, we awarded four
outstanding members each with $3,000
scholarships. Three members received a
scholarship from the Delta Sigma Endowed
Scholarship, which is funded by you, and one
member was awarded the Kris Bretz Nichols
Scholarship. Special thanks go to
Nancy Eddleman Ruby '77 for chairing
the committee and coordinating the
selection process!
I'm often asked why I devote so much time
to Kappa after all these years. My answer is
always the same: "I am honored to give back
to an organization that gave so much to me."
Wishing each of you a wonderful summer and
looking forward to what the next year holds for
Delta Sigma!
Loyally,
Laura Crawley Castleberry '80
