PAGE 2 Alpha Mu News KD Spreads Joy on Campus A Record of Selfless Service A Record of Selfless Service Our Alpha Mu sisters are Charity Bowl Cheer Competition champions, and our very own Corley Wyatt '21 is the Charity Bowl Queen! Holding the trophy (from le): Emma Allen '22, Sydney Avery '22, Peyton Rountree '24, Tinley Jones '23, and Olivia Robins '24. Mirabella Nicols '22 (le) and Claire Thompson '22 enjoy their time studying abroad. W e are proud to share that Alpha Mu achieved a semester GPA of 3.49 for fall 2024, maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.53! With this, we earned the 2024 Highest GPA Award from the UM's College Panhellenic Council. 2024 was marked by outstanding achievements that showcase the talent and leadership within our Chapter. Our sisters have demonstrated excellence across campus, earning recognition in numerous areas, including Columns Society, Ole Miss Ambassadors, Orientation, Student Activities Association, Honors College, Luckyday, Rebelthon, and Big Event! Sisterhood Honors • Hannah Watts '21 was elected president of the Associated Student Body. • Madeline Mueller '21 and Hannah Watts '21 were inducted into the university's Hall of Fame. • McKenzie Cox '22 was crowned Miss University. • Three of our members—Vanessa Bonner '21, Zoey Swan '22, and Emma Simpson '23— were voted onto the 2024 Homecoming Court. • Saige Drake '22 was crowned Most Beautiful at the Parade of Beauties. • Six of our members helped the Ole Miss All-Girl Cheer squad win the 2024 D1A All-Girl Championship. • The celebrations weren't limited to collegians—Pam Sherwood earned House Mom of the Year from the Panhellenic Council! Philanthropy KD Kaddyshack 2025 was a tremendous success for Alpha Mu. The exceptional golf tournament raised $81,401 for Prevent Child Abuse America and the North Mississippi Exchange Family Center. Students participated in the four-man scramble on Thursday, March 20, followed by the Parents' Weekend on Friday, March 21. We are looking forward to KD Kaddyshack 2026 and are grateful for our Chapter's dedication to our philanthropy. As we reflect on a year filled with academic excellence, campus involvement, and philanthropic success, we are incredibly proud of Alpha Mu Chapter's continued growth and impact. Our achievements are a testament to the friendship and loyalty, personal integrity, lifelong learning, and selfless service that define Kappa Delta. We are excited for the opportunities ahead and look forward to continuing this legacy of excellence.
