Alpha Mu Chapter of Kappa Delta at the University of Mississippi | Summer 2025
O
n Sunday, April 27, the Alpha Mu House Corporation
and Oxford Alumnae Association hosted our third
annual Mother/Daughter Alumnae Brunch. Guests
were greeted with colorful balloons adorning the grand
staircase and beautiful spring flowers throughout the
Chapter House. Our staff prepared a delicious meal that
included homemade shrimp and grits, salad, spinach
quiches, mini chicken biscuits, fruit, yogurt parfaits, KD
iced cookies, and the most popular item: the famous KD
Green Drink! This refreshing blend of lime sorbet and
ginger ale was served for many years during the Skit
Round of recruitment. We were excited to share it with
our young daughters—and even some collegians who had
never tried the drink! It was a nostalgic hit for everyone.
The brunch was held on a very busy weekend on the
Ole Miss campus. Between the Double Decker festival
and Ole Miss baseball, the campus and town of Oxford
were packed. We were so pleased that over 100 people
joined us for the fun, and we look forward to seeing even
more alumnae and daughters next year. From collegiate
members to mothers and grandmothers, we loved seeing
so many generations of Kappa Delta women!

wonderful housemother, Miss Pamela Sherwood—and
longtime KD Staff members for creating a special event
for our alumnae.
