Alumnae News A t our Founder's Day event hosted on March 9, we were joined by Natalie Grindle, fraternity trustee: membership, for a special presentation on what lifelong membership in Delta Gamma means. She also presented Delta Gamma's international Courage Award to one of our members for her incredible bravery in advocating for accessibility in sorority and fraternity housing. We are proud of Julia Berglund '22 for the way she has fostered a culture of social responsibility within and outside of our Chapter. We are also excited to share that we attended KU's SFL Awards in April and received the following Chapter awards: The Big Event Volunteer Award, Excellence in Personal and Professional Development, Distinction in Holistic Wellness, and Merit in Civic and Community Engagement. This semester, we successfully hosted our Valentine's semi-formal as well as two other social events, three sisterhood events, Founder's Day, and our ladies' weekend, where members brought their moms, sisters, or any women who inspire and support them to campus. We hosted a yoga class at the house, brunch, and fun shopping opportunities during the day to accompany the social events at night. Our sisterhood events ranged from making vision boards for the new year to making custom DG teddy bears. We also successfully transitioned CMT and JCMT officers and have been settling into our new roles with the support of the best advisors!
