After a thoughtful and thorough search process, Sara stood out for her warm presence, steady leadership, and genuine investment in community building. Throughout her interviews, she impressed our House Corporation and the collegiate members with her professionalism, care, and clear communication style. The women of the Chapter connected with her immediately and are thrilled to welcome her into the heart of their home. Sara brings a blend of experience and grace we believe will serve Beta Kappa well as we continue to cultivate a supportive, vibrant, and values-centered living environment. She will begin her transition alongside our current house director, Steph Smith with an anticipated start date in mid-July. We are grateful for the legacy of leadership and love that has shaped Beta Kappa and look forward to the many ways Sara will carry that forward in the months and years ahead. W e are beyond proud to share exciting news from our Beta Kappa sisterhood! Kara Graham '21, our immediate past Chapter president, has been selected to serve as a Delta Gamma Collegiate Development Consultant for the 2025-26 term. Kara was chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants across the country, following an extensive application and in-person interview process that spans multiple days and evaluates a candidate's leadership, alignment with the fraternity's mission, and ability to represent Delta Gamma on a national and international scale. It's a rigorous, inspiring journey, and Kara's selection is a true testament to her outstanding leadership, dedication, and heart for Delta Gamma. For those less familiar, CDCs are, quite honestly, Delta Gamma celebrities. These women are among the most visible and influential ambassadors of our fraternity, traveling the country to support collegiate chapters, facilitate leadership development, and strengthen our organization from the inside out. It is one of the most sought-after roles a graduating senior can pursue, and only a select few are chosen each year. Kara will officially begin her role in July, and we know she'll carry the spirit of Beta Kappa with her every step of the way. Her love for Delta Gamma, her commitment to excellence, and her ability to connect with others will serve her and the fraternity well in this new adventure. Kara Graham '21 Selected as CDC A True Star Rises from Our Chapter Dr. Margaret Waddell Ellis '53 is 91 and lives in a memory care facility in Alpharetta, Ga. She enjoys talking about Delta Gamma with her daughter, Lisa, who is also a DG. Elaine Morrison Rhodes '56 is enjoying retirement in Overland Park, Kan. She sees Mary Lou Leavitt Enna '56 and Kay Renfrow Markel '56 regularly and recently met with Bonny Golden Cooper-Hull '56 after not seeing each other for around 60 years. Barbara Anderson Dodson '58 remains blessed with good health and energy. She lives in Wichita, Kan., and keeps busy with hobbies, including clay work, and her many great-grandchildren. Micki Pasano Holliday '66 spends her retirement volunteering at a local charity and gardening. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and grandkids and reconnecting with friends from high school, college, and past work. She lives in Olathe, Kan.
