In fall 2024, the chapter achieved a 3.4 semester GPA, demonstrating Beta Beta's continued commitment to academic excellence and positively contributing to the academic reputation of the fraternity and sorority community. In February, eight executive board members attended Alpha Phi's annual Leadership Conference in Denver, Colorado. The impactful weekend offered department-specific training sessions, skill-building opportunities, and a unique platform to connect with Alpha Phis from across North America. At the conference, Beta Beta was honored with three prestigious awards—Outstanding Marketing and Social Media, Outstanding Financial Management, and Excellence in Philanthropy—recognizing the chapter as a top fundraising group in the North Quadrant. To support our philanthropic efforts, Beta Beta raised $42,315 during our annual Heart Health Week and Red Dress Gala events in February to support the Alpha Phi Foundation and raise awareness for women's heart health. This spring, Beta Beta welcomed four new members through the continuous open bidding process, in addition to the 57 new members from fall 2024 formal recruitment. The chapter now stands at 218 members, making Beta Beta the largest it has ever been and the largest sorority in Michigan State University history. Beta Beta is also proud to share that it has been approved to house second-year students for the 2025-26 academic year, reflecting MSU's commitment to providing diverse and inclusive housing options that create a positive and enriching residential experience. As another incredible year comes to a close, we are proud of the impact we have made and excited for all that is to come!
