UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA SPRING 2025 THE RED DOOR W e are grateful for the collective accomplishments, growth, and community engagement of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Alumni, your legacy lives on through the achievements of our members, and we keep building upon these successes. In spring 2024, we held a 3.23 GPA—13th out of 36 IFC chapters. Come fall, we increased to 3.3 and ninth. With 25 members on the president's list, 56 on the dean's list, and 142 with above a 3.0 GPA (72% of our Chapter!), we are proud of our members' success. In October, SigEp and Chi Omega organized a community Wings for Wishes wing-eating contest, benefiting Make-A-Wish Alabama. In February, SigEp and Alpha Delta Pi hosted Picnic with Parents, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Alabama and the Ronald McDonald House. This event was a fun-filled evening of food and live music, raising $11,000. SigEp partnered with Chi Omega for an unforgettable Homecoming. We poured energy into designing and setting up a vibrant lawn display showcasing school pride. We were also in several intramural competitions together, fueling a competitive spirit and celebrating friendly rivalry. Another standout moment was our participation in the Delta Gamma Anchor Games. Brothers competed in a dance competition, talent show, and more. We are incredibly proud of building strong connections across campus. Check out these pictures to see some small- group and individual accomplishments we're celebrating! Our October Parents and Alumni Weekend was a memorable and exciting time for all. The weekend kicked off Friday night with a lively event at Druid City Social and led into a tailgate on Saturday. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, good food, great music, and even better company. Fast forward to another fantastic Parents Weekend in February—this time joining with Alpha Delta Pi for a successful philanthropy event. Culminating in an exciting Saturday night gathering at Downtown Social where we all enjoyed music, food, and dancing, it was the perfect way to wrap up a weekend full of connection, celebration, and giving back. These weekends highlight the strong bonds within our Chapter and the support we have from our families, making them moments we'll always cherish. As we wrap up this school year, we would like to thank our families and alumni for all they do. We look forward to seeing and hearing from everyone in the fall! Here's to the enduring spirit of the purple and red! Fraternally, Cannon Bosarge '26 Chapter President Aaron McFarland '26 was elected as IFC VP of recruitment. Tailgating with special guest Bret Bolin '21, who is currently a coach on the Alabama football team! Enjoying a fall Friday evening over Parents and Alumni Weekend. CJ Colwell '28 is an SGA Arts and Sciences senator. John Michael Chandash '27 is SGA VP of student affairs. Undergraduate Shoutouts! More on page 4!
