T hroughout the last year, we have been working to further build our relationship with alumni. We not only want to be in constant communication with our alumni board but also with the whole network of alumni from our chapter. To achieve this, I have been sending out a monthly newsletter to alumni ever since my election. This newsletter keeps them in the loop on house happenings and the brothers' activities on campus. Looking ahead, I am seeking new ways to involve alumni with our undergraduates. Setting up more in-person events would help build connections on a personal and professional level. Our brotherhood values those who came before us and understands you want to see us succeed—as a chapter and as individuals. Building our relationship with alumni will help us succeed in school and far beyond. VNR Alumni Relations Peter Lukac '24 O ur new members for the spring semester are now initiated, officially joining our brotherhood and embracing the values that define our fraternity. We have been educating them about our chapter's history, traditions, and its broader impact in the community as well as teaching them about the National fraternity. This knowledge strengthens their connection to AGR and helps them understand their role within it. Additionally, our new members have been paired with their Bigs, who will serve as mentors and guides as they navigate their early Gamma experiences. This relationship fosters personal and professional growth, ensuring that each new member feels supported and welcomed. We are excited to see them grow and contribute to our chapter in meaningful ways. VNR MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT SCHUYLER SCHMITT '23 Making Better Men I joined Gamma Chapter in fall 2024 and have grown to love this house and everything it stands for. Throughout my time here, I have seen just how every single brother cares for their academic success (and the success of fellow brothers). I am proud to announce we currently hold a 3.47 GPA, which ranks us third out of the 30 IFC fraternities at Penn State (and among the top AGR chapters regarding academics). In my short time on the executive board so far, I have tried to promote and provide our brothers with the resources they need to succeed. We have previously had résumé reviews at our chapter house and hope to have more professional development workshops at our house in the future. I hope, for the duration of my term, I do everything in my power to help these brothers become better men in every facet. Our top academic goal will be to make the top GPA of the IFC at Penn State.
