PAGE 2 TAU TALK G amma Upsilon continues to display excellence with the Iowa State Greek community with our academics, leadership, and philanthropy. Our commitment to the chapter has earned us multiple prestigious awards that show our dedication to our values. This past August we received our ninth-consecutive True Merit award, making our all-time total 27. We also received three different FAE awards at Iowa State: Interpersonal Development and Accountability, IFC Accountability, and House Director of the Year (Mr. Kelly). I am so proud of our chapter and incredibly excited to see what we accomplish in the future. Our chapter attained an impressive fall GPA of 3.33. Alpha Tau Omega remains the largest fraternity on campus and continues to hold the highest wet-house GPA. Overall, we ranked third. Beyond our internal commitments, the chapter remains deeply invested in our philanthropic events. We raised $2,255 for ACCESS at our fall Stick Fest event, featuring a variety of different kebabs cooked by our chef. Most recently, during the silent auction at our annual Mom's Day, we raised $4,030 for ACCESS. Our biggest goal is to win the True Merit award for the 10th year in a row. To do this, we have raised expectations for each position on the executive team. Our public relations officer is utilizing ATΩ Roadshow and making more frequent posts on Instagram to keep followers engaged. Our philanthropy chairman has made a more sophisticated plan for our spring philanthropy, Cones and Bones. Our recruitment chairmen have tripled last year's amount of potential new members contacted. This spring has been very successful, and we plan to continue the upward trend throughout the remainder of the school year and in fall 2025.
