Denise Petersen-Johnson '88 has been a teacher/elementary school counselor for over 30
years; she loves her job and the daily fulfillment it provides. Denise also volunteers for the
school's booster club and enjoys watching her son play football; his team won the Iowa State
football championship last year. Denise and her husband live in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and have
