CHI OMEGA 7 The House Corporation and Chapter executive officers gather for dinner. L eading during this transformative time for our Chapter has been a testament to the incredible strength, resilience, and unity of our sisterhood. While our beloved home is undergoing restoration, our women have embraced new spaces, new traditions, and new ways to come together— proving Chi Omega is not just a house but a home we carry within us. Building Our Bonds The University Baptist Church has been so gracious in hosting us this school year. Their generosity has given us a space to enjoy meals from our wonderful Kip and Lori, hold weekly Chapter meetings, and build connections with the church community that we hope will continue to grow beyond this year. Even in times of change, our sisterhood remains strong as ever. Our leaders have thoughtfully organized opportunities for us to come together in new and meaningful ways from monthly dinners hosted at a member's home to unplugged walks that allow us to reconnect with each other and ourselves. A special highlight was our Galentine's event at a local coffee shop, where each member was paired on a "blind date" with a member from a different pledge class, strengthening bonds within our Chapter. Philanthropy Efforts Our Chapter's dedication to Make-A-Wish continues to inspire us. In the fall, we were delighted to host the second annual Oyster Roast in support of the Riley Watkins Legacy Fund for Make-A-Wish at the historic Horace Williams House. It was a beautiful evening where members of the UNC-Chapel Hill community and beyond came together to enjoy delicious oysters, live music, and, most importantly, to celebrate Riley and the lasting impact of her legacy on our Chapter. This event holds a special place in the hearts of every member of our Chapter, and we were overjoyed to raise more than $25,000 for the legacy fund. Academic Progress Our commitment to excellence shines in our academics, with our Chapter proudly holding the No. 2 spot for GPA in Panhellenic. This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and intelligence of every member of our Chapter. I am continuously inspired by our resilience, warmth, and unwavering bond. This year has shown that Chi Omega is not just about where we gather, but also about the spirit we bring wherever we go. As we eagerly look ahead to returning to our beloved home this fall, I know that the strength and unity we have built will make it all the more special! Members could purchase shirts with the same logo, and a portion of the proceeds benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
