COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY SPRING 2025 S P EA R The C olorado Gamma has continued its excellence and growth throughout the spring 2025 semester. From academic achievements and leadership development to philanthropic initiatives and athletic accomplishments, our chapter remains committed to the ideals of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Our excellence was shown during the Fraternity and Sorority Life Awards ceremony, where our chapter received four IFC awards as well as two alumni awards. We won Excellence in Membership Development; Excellence in Intake, Recruitment, and Retention; Highest GPA (Spring 2024); and Parker Orth '26 took home IFC President of the Year. Congratulations as well to AVC members Dan Reagan '82 and Mitch Christ '79 on their induction into the Alumni Circle of Legends at CSU! Beyond 121 E. Lake Street, we stay involved and continue to show our leadership on campus. We have three brothers on the FSL Programming Board—Emilio Serrano '27 (assistant director of signature events), Luke Johnson '27 (director of finance), and Conner Ellis '27 (assistant director of marketing)—as well as three on the IFC Executive Board—Scott Green '26 (VP of Risk Management), Max Moreno '27 (VP of recruitment operations), and Emilio Serrano '27 (VP of public relations). This spring, our recruitment efforts were highly successful, bringing in 10 outstanding new members. With their addition, our chapter now has grown to 137 brothers, further strengthening our presence on campus. These young gentlemen bring diverse talents, leadership skills, and commitment to personal growth. We have faith they will strengthen our chapter for years to come. Our chapter demonstrated excellence both academically and athletically this semester. With a strong chapter GPA of 3.3, we ranked among the top fraternities at CSU, reinforcing our commitment to academic success. Meanwhile, some of our brothers excelled in their athletics. Aden Blake '26 and Eli Smid '26 play for the CSU soccer team; Drew Vassar '28 and Makai Baylous '28 play for the CSU baseball team; and Jared Barton '27 plays for the CSU Division 2 ice hockey team and has been selected as a conference All-Star two years in a row. Jared will also be representing the Philippines in a tournament this summer in Thailand. Beyond traditional athletics, four brothers (Jimmy Shull '27, Jack Holsinger '27, Tim Kervin '27, and Chris Terrigno '27) will be running a marathon supporting a charity of their choice. Their commitment to pushing their physical and mental limits reflects the values of discipline and resilience that we uphold as a chapter. As we look to the future, we are excited about the continued growth of our chapter and the lasting impact we will make within our community. We are very proud of our graduating seniors, whose contributions have shaped the chapter, and we look forward to their success beyond CSU. Colorado Gamma continues to demonstrate the power of leadership, service, and brotherhood. We are eager to build upon this momentum and further our mission of receiving a Buchanan Cup and developing balanced men who will lead with integrity and purpose.
