The Crescent A s we reflect on an incredible year for our Chapter, we are excited to share accomplishments and milestones that have made this a year of growth, leadership, and sisterhood. From philanthropy to academics and campus involvement, Delta Mu continues to thrive, and we couldn't have done it without the foundation built by our alumnae. PHILANTHROPY AND SERVICE This year, Delta Mu made significant strides in our philanthropic efforts for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In fall 2024, we raised more than $15,000 during our Gameday Giveback Tailgate, making it one of our most successful events to date thanks to Director of Philanthropy Zara Jadol '21! We had the honor of welcoming Tyler, a St. Jude patient, to share his story. Diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age 6, he reminded us why we fundraise when he said, "Because of your donations and generosity, my family of five didn't become a family of four." Our 25K in a Day campaign shattered expectations, raising more than $60,000 in 24 hours! This spring, our Chapter looks forward to returning to Memphis for a tour of St. Jude's campus. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Delta Mu continues to prioritize scholarship and academic excellence. This past semester, 305 members achieved the president's and dean's list and will be recognized through our Bama Cash reward program. Director of Academic Excellence Seana Kelly '22 met with more than 90 members to provide academic resources, ensuring every member has the tools they need to succeed. CAMPUS AND CHAPTER INVOLVEMENT Delta Mu members continue to leave their mark on campus. Director of Public Relations Kendall Kennedy '21 grew our Instagram from 12,700 to 17,500 followers and our TikTok from 6,000 to 13,000 followers, earning more than 1 million views during recruitment week! VP of Membership Experience Sofia Rodriguez '21 spearheaded our new member experience committee to strengthen our retention and ensure members feel valued and heard. Delta Mu also played a pivotal role in "Leading Kindness," a pilot program launched by Tri Delta Executive Office, proving our Chapter as a leader in values-based programming. EXCITING HOUSE UPDATES Big changes are happening at the house! Thanks to Director of Facility Operations Lexi Boyle '21, we replaced our old water and ice machine with a brand-new Coca-Cola soda fountain—a longtime wish-list item and new favorite among members! 110TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION This year also marked an incredible milestone—Delta Mu's 110th birthday! To celebrate, we invited alumnae to share their memories and photos from their time in the Chapter, highlighting the strong sisterhood that has lasted for more than a century. The overwhelming response reminded us of the lifelong impact Tri Delta has had on generations of women and the incredible legacy we continue to build together. We are so proud of what we've achieved this year and cannot wait to build on this success in the semesters to come. Your ongoing support makes this possible, and we are deeply grateful for the lifelong bonds that connect all our pledge classes.
