Delta Delta Delta - University of Alabama

T his past fall and winter break were busy for Tri Delta. I hope many of you stopped by to visit during game weekends to see how beautiful the house looks! Many of you may have high school students coming to campus for college tours. Please bring them by the Tri Delta House while in Tuscaloosa. We welcome all our alumnae and parents! The House Corporation recently purchased 66 new desk chairs for women living in the house. They are modern chrome on casters with a white leather back. This gives a young, modern touch to their rooms. New outdoor seats and back cushions were installed on the patio for all the sofas and chairs. We also replaced a faulty attic fan that was more than 10 years old. We continue to collect UA Corolla yearbooks. To date, we have 35 on the bookcase in the main TV room. It is a fun addition, and I hope you will look through them to find your classmates when you visit. If you have any or find any around town, we still need the following: 1940, 1941, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947 1962, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1969 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989 1990, 1992, 1995 Thank you to all who have made gifts, whether financial or of your time. Every gift makes a difference! It is important to remember that the House Corporation runs a commercial space for more than 300 women. We are mindful about choosing durable fabrics and textiles, but of course with constant wear and tear, things continue to need updating. It is an ongoing process.
