Pi Chapter history isn't just what happens when we're on campus! Thank you for helping us curate Gamma Phi Beta at Nebraska history and celebrate our alumnae. Marla Marx McCabe '49 shared, "The book was artistically great and beautifully assembled. The content is excellent, and I am glad to have it!" She resides in Lincoln, Neb. Mary Belle Baldwin Beach '52 has reached her 90th year. She is healthy, still active, and works out three times a week. She has one daughter, Susan Smith, who also lives in Lincoln. She has two sons; Jim is in Omaha and Tim is in California. Her other daughter, Kimberly, is in Overland Park, Kan. Agnes Anderson Olson '52 is living as one of 500 residents of University Village on the 65 acres of Cal Lutheran University. She takes art classes and attends local events. She has two sons and a daughter who live nearby as well as 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. "There are five GPBs in our family," Agnes shared. "Two in USC, two in Northern Arizona, and me!" Agnes lives in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Email: aggieolsn@gmail.com Kay Gleason Hays '55 is still playing duplicate bridge two or three times a week at 89 years old in Allentown, Pa. Email: kayhays6@yahoo.com Jane Kugler, M.D. '72 said, "The Omaha Gamma Phi Alumni Chapter hosted Creighton University's 40 new initiates at my home in February. My husband and I enjoyed recent travels to Rome, Florence, Vienna, Prague, and Budapest and are planning trips to Dublin and Edinburgh this year." Jane lives in Omaha, Neb. Email: janekugler@gmail.com Tammy Larson Miller '78 retired from the Park District in 2019, but she is busier than ever in Elk Grove Village, Ill. She works part-time for a gift basket company called "That's Caring" that gives back to food banks across the country with each purchase. She also serves on the Elk Grove Village Board of Trustees and has six grandchildren with one on the way.
