BOX 442100 LAWRENCE, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested IN M E M O RIAM Brother Robert "Bob" Plaskon, ΔΔ768, 85, of State College, Pa., passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. Brother Plaskon was a 1957 graduate of Turtle Creek High School and a 1962 graduate of Penn State with a bachelor's degree in business administration. After graduating from Penn State, Bob was commissioned to the U.S. Army, where he served from 1962 to 1964, spending time in Europe and attaining the rank of Captain. After leaving the Army, Bob went on to work for various companies across the United States in the transportation industry but spent the majority of his career as a warehouse manager for Wheelabrator Air Pollution Control in Pittsburgh. Upon retiring in 2001, Bob moved to Surprise, Ariz., with his wife, where he continued working part-time for Sun Health. Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was inurned alongside his wife in Arlington National Cemetery. Dr. Richard H. Dunkelberger, ΔΔ665, passed to the Chapter Eternal on July 23, 2023, at age 89. Brother Carl "Chirp" Iannetti, ∆∆805, 81, of Hookstown, Pa., passed away on February 13, 2024. He was born on July 2, 1942, the son of the late Nick and Elizabeth Repole Iannetti. A graduate of the Union High School in Burgettstown, he also earned a degree in business from Penn State University (1964) before serving our country as a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy. For over 50 years he co-owned Iannetti's Garden Center in Hanover Twp. with his brother Nick. He was there every day serving the tri-state area. He is survived by his wife, Christine Kascak Iannetti, whom he married in 1969; his three sons, Anthony Iannetti, P.E. and wife Julie of North Ridgeville, Ohio; David Iannetti of Hookstown; and Michael Iannetti, M.D. and wife Laci of Williamstown, W.V.; three grandchildren, Natalie, Lucas, and Abigail Iannetti; brother Joseph Iannetti and wife Dorothy of Georgetown; sister-in-law Stephana Iannetti of Hanover Twp.; and many nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents is his brother Nick Iannetti. He was laid to rest in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown. Brother Denis Andrew Zera, ∆∆890, 76, of Ligonier, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024. He was born October 29, 1948, in Latrobe, the son of the late Andrew and Anna (Crevak) Zera. Before retirement, he was a physics teacher in the greater Latrobe School District from 1970 until 1979. He was also a self-employed contractor. Denis was an avid golfer and was proud of his six holes-in-one over the years. He also enjoyed tennis and directed the Latrobe Park and Recreations tennis program in the 1970s and formerly coached the St. Vincent College tennis team. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Edwards. He is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Bonnie (Ferguson) Zera; his daughter, Jayme White (Jason); grandchildren, Alexandra, Taylor, and Ashleigh Edwards, Alexandria Yesho (Zach), and Kayla, Ellie, and Paige White.
