Page 3 YOUNGBLOODS HAPPY HOUR AT TANNER'S – JULY 22 We had an excellent turnout for our inaugural Youngbloods Happy Hour, marking a much-anticipated celebration of our recent graduates. This event was a fantastic success, and we look forward to promoting it again next year with even greater participation. A heartfelt thank you to all the alumni, Youngbloods, and their significant others who joined us. It was a night filled with good company and great memories. Proud to be a SigEp! ALUMNI WORK DAY – JUNE 29, 2024 We are immensely proud of the alumni who stepped up to support us this summer. Please take a moment to read through this segment as we recognize the generous cash, item, and time contributions that made such a significant impact. Work Day Attendees: Thank you to Todd Detwiler '89 and Cindy, Kris McElroy '26, Russ Nentrup '92, Ron Curtin '88, Mark Shepard '76, Stacey Fager, Tom Catterson '90, Brad Myers '89, Mitch Potter '90, Jerry Casidy '85, Mike Wagner '08, Doc Strader '64, and Tommy Elms '89. We were also joined by undergraduates Carson McElroy, Nick Lawrence, Nathan Carlson, and Aiden Mathia. Donations Totaling $2,500: Mike Wagner: $726 for a washer and dryer Russ Nentrup: $740 for exterior doors Jon Van Order '97: $303 for two picnic tables Kris McElroy: $220 for miscellaneous materials Ron Curtin: $236 for professional paint discounts Tommy Elms: $385 for various materials Todd Detwiler: Burgers and brats for our team Mitch Potter: Concrete Gorilla This summer, we invested more than $7,000 in upkeep, improvements, and repairs. Our budget is tight, making every dollar and item donated extremely valuable. We are truly grateful for everyone who contributed and helped us continue to enhance our space! FIRST SIGEP COUPLES GOLF WEEKEND – JUNE 22 This year's inaugural SigEp Couples Golf Weekend took place at the picturesque Firekeeper Golf Course, just north of Topeka—and what a fantastic experience it was! We intentionally kept this gathering intimate, allowing us to test the waters and refine our plans for future events. The camaraderie was palpable, and every moment was filled with laughter and friendly competition. Looking ahead, we're excited to announce that next year's event will be open to a larger group, inviting even more couples to join in on the fun.
