OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY | 3 A Dominant PIKE Presence Welcome, New Members I n fall 2024, PIKE was able to return to competition for America's Greatest Homecoming. We were fortunate to have been paired with the women of Alpha Chi Omega. Head Directors Cooper Huff '22, Kamri Blake, and Haley Smith were able to secure fifth in house decorations with the help of Head Inside Director Gunner Bissett '22 and Head Outside Director Josh Michael '22. HEALTHY COMPETITION The men also had a great time competing in the Frenzy flag football tournament with the women of Alpha Chi Omega for Homecoming Sweepstakes. The team, led by coaches Dylan Wilson '22 and Becca Baker, won their first game against Beta/Kappa Delta but, unfortunately, lost the next two games to SAE/ADPi and FarmHouse/Chi O. Even with the early tournament exit, Tanner Steidley '22, Carter Evans '24, and Stennett Prior '22 all tallied touchdowns for the PiChi squad. Another sports league PIKE competed in was a newly formed Greek Basketball Association. This association is at several college campuses around the country and involves all houses forming a team to compete in a regular season and playoff format. In the regular season, Stennett Prior led the team to a 4-2 record, which was good enough for a playoff seeding. PIKE won the first game against Sigma Nu but lost to FIJI in the final four matchup. Despite the outcome, the men showed a lot of potential to defend their King of the Court title next semester. CHAPTER ACTIVITIES The new members of Pi Kappa Alpha organized a car wash in the alley behind our house during their pledgeship. With the help of VP of Membership Development Zander Phillips '22 and his team, these new members raised more than $1,000 for our charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters. With the help of President Colin Schulz '22, our new members also went on a weekend retreat to Broken Bow. The men had a chance to strengthen their fraternal bonds over the weekend away from Stillwater by playing games, cliff jumping, hiking, and enjoying time at the cabin. External VP Austin Wines '23 also led us in participating in an Oklahoma State community service day, Into the Streets. PIKE was paired with the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega, and the men had a great time helping the community by landscaping, gardening, and picking up leaves for neighbors of Stillwater. We had a great fall semester and look forward to a productive spring. Fraternally, Henry Wright '22 President Students gather for the Frenzy flag football tournament. New members work our car wash philanthropy event. STAYING COMPETITIVE AND BUILDING CONNECTIONS Ammar Aubed | Bahrain Andrew Baughman | Chestertown, Md.
