his summer, Ohio Theta sent Carter Burt '27
to Richmond, Virginia, for the Ruck Leadership
Institute. At SigEp's landmark leadership program, he
spent five days learning leadership principles and how
to lead and inspire positive change in their chapters
and beyond.
"My trip to Richmond for the 25th anniversary
Ruck Leadership Institute was one of the best and
most valuable experiences I've had," he said. "I
learned more than I ever expected and met amazing
facilitators and participants from across the nation.
I'm grateful to everyone who donated to make Ruck
possible and to John Hartman for co-founding this
institute based on
Frank J. Ruck's
principles."
Carter was mentored by executive-level alumni mentors
and engaged with brothers from across the country.
Thanks to the generosity of alumni and donors,
brothers like Carter create actionable takeaways to lead
his chapter and grow as individuals for years to come.
"This experience has profoundly impacted me," Carter
shared. "I'll apply what I've learned in my chapter and
professional life."
